About Us
Our Journey & Vision
Hurricane Technologies was founded in 2002 when Thomas Vonglis saw a need for IT support in his community. As a long time member of Rotary, and other community organizations, helping people with their IT problems, and treating them like family while doing it, was the cornerstone of his vision. Even as we have grown, treating people like people and not just a support ticket number has continued to be a core value. We want you to reach an actual person when you call us for support, not have to go through 5 prompts, sit on hold and then leave a message. We value integrity, communication, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
We’ve also been through a full and almost complete loss when fire destroyed our headquarters. This gives us an unique perspective of getting a business back up and running after a disaster.

Shawn Petti
President
Shawn Petti has been an integral part of Hurricane Technologies since its inception, starting as the first full-time employee and steadily rising from helpdesk technician to owner. With a solid background in Information Systems and business, he possesses a unique perspective on how systems operate and the ways they can be integrated effectively. Outside of work, Shawn is passionate about fitness, enjoys running long distances, and cherishes quality time with his family.
